Bridging Dharma and American Legal Practice
The Dharmic Bar Association was founded to bridge the gap between American legal practice and the Dharmic traditions.

Our mission is to build a service-oriented legal community rooted in Sanatana Dharma — committed not only to professional excellence, but to protecting the dignity, rights, and future of our traditions.

Needhy Shah
Â
Needhy Shah has built her career on expertise in federal, state, and local civil rights law. Her undergraduate education at Cornell University’s ILR School fostered her understanding of workplace issues, and she continued to nurture that interest throughout her time at Duke University’s School of Law. After graduation, Needhy put that knowledge into practice as an associate with nationally-acclaimed law firms for labor and employment work. There, she honed her skills as an employment litigator and advisor to countless well-known companies. Needhy also spent time as in-house counsel, learning the many ways that legal practice relies on common sense and keen judgment.Â
